Digital products

Cold Case Nights is a digital download. Once you pay, the case files are delivered to your inbox within minutes and are yours to keep. Nothing is shipped, so there is nothing to return and nothing to send back to us.

Because the files are delivered instantly and in full, this policy is what stands in place of a return. It is deliberately simple.

The 7-day guarantee

If the collection is not what you wanted, write to us within 7 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full.

You do not have to finish a case, prove that you tried, or explain what went wrong. We refund people who never opened the files, and we would rather do that than argue with anybody about an evening that did not land.

How to request a refund

Send one email to ask@digitalmaterials.store from the address you used at checkout, and write "refund" in the subject line. That is the whole process.

Use the same email address you bought with, so we can find your order.
If you no longer have that address, send us the order number instead.
We reply to every request. Most are handled the same day, and all within 2 business days.
Once approved, the money goes back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank usually takes 5 to 10 business days to show it.

If you cannot access your files

This is almost never a refund. It is almost always an email that went to spam or a typo in the address at checkout.

Check your spam, promotions and junk folders for a message from Cold Case Nights.
Search your inbox for coldcasenights and for digitalmaterials.
Still nothing? Write to ask@digitalmaterials.store and we will send your files again, by hand, to any address you want.

We will always resend your files. There is no time limit on that and you never have to buy anything twice.

Before you open a dispute

If something has gone wrong, please email us first. A dispute opened with your bank takes weeks to resolve, freezes the order while it runs, and stops us from doing the one thing that would actually help, which is refunding you or resending your files today.

One email to ask@digitalmaterials.store resolves this faster than any bank can. We have never refused a refund inside the 7-day window and we are not going to start with yours.
